System selection

Find the right backup system.

Start with your real loads, then narrow the battery and inverter. Each step carries your result forward, so you never enter the same information twice.

How recommendations are made

A transparent pre-selection, not a black box.

The first two calculations come from electrical fundamentals. Product matching then uses current data sheets. Site design and local compliance require a qualified engineer or installer.

Why engineer confirmation remainsA battery can have enough kWh but still have insufficient discharge current for the inverter at full output. BMS communication, cable size, temperature and protective devices also affect the final system.
01

Energy requirement

Appliance power × operating time, adjusted for efficiency and reserve.

02

Peak power

Simultaneous running load plus the largest expected startup demand.

03

Battery fit

Required kWh, discharge current, installation, local stock and preferred 10.24 kWh path.

04

Inverter fit

Continuous power, phase, PV input, generator input and battery current capability.

Selection FAQ

Questions before you rely on the result.

Short answers about inputs, current limits and when engineering review is required.

What should I prepare before using the selectors?

Start with the calculator result: required energy in kWh and peak demand in kW. Also confirm grid phase, planned PV power, installation location and whether local stock is the priority.

Is the recommended battery and inverter a final system design?

No. It is a preliminary product path. An engineer must confirm battery voltage, continuous charge and discharge current, BMS protocol, inverter data sheets, cables and protective devices before the quote.

Why can a battery have enough kWh but still be unsuitable?

kWh describes stored energy. The inverter also requires enough battery-side current at full output. If the battery's maximum continuous discharge current is too low, the selector sends the project for engineering review.

When does the automatic selection stop?

Manual review is triggered for requirements above the 17.41 kWh automatic home range, peak demand above 8 kW, three-phase supply, planned PV above 10 kW, incompatible battery current, rack installation or protected outdoor installation.

Does the selector prioritize stock in Ukraine?

When you choose “Ukraine stock first,” the selector first looks for an in-stock model that meets the capacity requirement. If none fits, it returns to the full home range. Without this priority, the 10.24 kWh path is favored when it fits.

Engineer-confirmed selection

Have a load list or calculator result?

Step 2 · Product fit

Choose a battery.

Use the capacity from the backup calculator, then confirm how and where the battery will be installed.

Step 3 · Compatibility

Choose a hybrid inverter.

Use the peak demand from the calculator and confirm phase, PV and generator requirements.

Confirm compatibility inputs

Peak demand selects the power class. The remaining inputs determine whether standard matching is safe.
